Hey Seniors, this message is for you!
The Introduction to Fitness class at Wickham Park Senior Center in Melbourne is designed to help older adults begin moving again with confidence, purpose and support.
Held from 10:00-11:00 every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. The class is offered at no additional cost. Wickham Park Senior Center Members pay $1; and 2$ for non-members. Those who would like to attend will have to sign up in the lobby at Wickham Park Senior Center located at 2785 Leisure Way, Melbourne, FL 32935!
This welcoming class is ideal for individuals with little or no experience with structured exercise, as well as those who may not have exercised in quite some time. Participants will learn the fundamentals of safe movement, mobility, strength, balance, and functional fitness in a comfortable and encouraging environment focused on improving overall quality of life, independence, and daily movement.
Whether you are just getting started or returning to exercise after a long break, this class offers a positive and approachable introduction to fitness for seniors at their own pace.
